Mike Lorenger is 46 yrs. old and has been married to his wife Dana for 22 wonderful yrs. and they have 3 children, one girl and two boys. Mike has been coaching youth league Baseball, Softball, and football for nine years. Mikes family moved to the Coachella Valley in 2003, were his two boys Sean and Casey joined local Travel Ball Teams. Sean the oldest joined the Palm Desert Patriots Coached by Tim Burcham former professional player for the Anaheim Angels Organization.

Casey the youngest has played for the Palm Desert Bull Dogs and The Desert Strom. In 2007 Mike was given what he considered to be an opportunity of a life time when asked to be an Assistant Coach to LA Dodger great Steve Garvey, Mr. Garvey  coached the  14U Palm Desert Dodgers to a very successful season. Mike is currently a pitching instructor for a 12U Travel Ball Team.

Mikes passion is to help develop each player to his/hers potential. Increasing your Childs opportunity of advancing to a higher level in their game. The teaching principles used by Mike Lorenger come directly from Don Slaught, Batting Coach- 2006 American League Detroit Tigers, Mike Candrea U.S. Olympic Coach, Sue Enquist-Softball Coach UCLA 11 National Championships, Deb Hartwig certified RVP Instructor, Jim Lefebvre MLB All Star 1965, Kirk Walker Head Coach Oregon State softball and Steve Ontiveros 19 year MLB Pitcher.

The Students swing mechanics and pitching mechanics are compared and evaluated to the top hitters and pitchers in the MLB and NPF.
